Built in 1269 for Eleanor de Monfort, sister of Henry III, Spitalford is a stone built, detached holiday cottage set in a large garden, on the edge of Embleton village by the Northumberland coast. Recently refurbished to an exceptionally high standard Spitalford is a truly unique location for the discerning guest.

Downstairs is a magnificent open plan living kitchen dining room, with original beams and inglenook fireplaces. There is a wood burning stove in the sitting area and a gas hob, electric ovens range cooker in the kitchen inglenook.

A bespoke wooden spiral staircase leads to two ensuite bedrooms. The main bedroom suite has a super king size bed, sofa, built in wardrobes and large bathroom with double washbasins, separate shower, bath and lavatory.
The second bedroom has twin beds with built in cupboard and bathroom with basin, bath (with shower attachment) and lavatory.
